Youlbury

Youlbury Campsite is every bit as promised... and more.

After a light lunch and a quick briefing, everyone (well almost...) is outside playing volleyball.

This afternoon the scouts will be going to be exploring the whole campsite (about 10 times the size of Ghajn Tuffieha - or more). Together with another poor soul, I will be off to explore the surroundings to find a supermarket to buy our supplies from.

Morale is very high and there is a high expectation for the onsite activities which we know will be good.

I'll try to post some photos later on.

And so the adventure begins...

As I write this we are on the coach on the way to the campsite.

At the checkin desk at MIA we discovered that only one piece of luggage is permitted - and therefore we had a little issue with the duffel bag full of the team equipment. Luckily Edward packed light and whoever designed those duffels was a good guy (hehehe)... irrangajna.

The flight was relatively uneventful. Alberto found a set of screwdrivers under his seat and the matter wasn't that pleasant to discover a few minutes before takeoff... Apart from the couple of "sleeping beauties" Ed took photos of, the flight was ok.

On arrival at Gatwick and a quick pitstop, we found the ever professional Motts Coaches driver waiting for us outside.

Our next stop is Youlbury Campsite.
