The flight back home was noisy and restless.
Just before the plane started moving, we lost the power supply from the ground and the pilot had to start the plane's APU - leaving us in the dark for a few moments. I still think Ed shouldn't have touched that big red button...
The adventure is over and we're all home safely. In the near future we'll post more updates to the posts and add more photos.
Before signing off, I would like to thank the amazing team of leaders who joined us for the trip. Thanks go to Alfred Savona for his level-headed and prudent approach; Mariella Darmanin for taking challenges head-on and leading by example; Maxine Scicluna for being a real team-player; Ian Fenech for his energy and enthusiasm; Kristina Abela for her quick smile and practical way of doing things; Jeanelle Bugeja for being determined and fun; Emanuel Grech for injecting a massive dose of entertainment into our systems; Edward Vella for keeping us very well fed; and Josephine Gatt for being the glue that held everything together.
Without them the trip would not have been what it is.
